Description +

Wireworm Nematodes provide targeted biological control of wireworm larvae living in garden soil and vegetable beds.

The beneficial nematodes are mixed with water and applied directly to the affected soil and crop root zone, where they actively seek out wireworm larvae below the surface.

For best results, apply when soil temperatures are above 13°C and the soil is moist. Avoid application in bright sunshine or frosty conditions. Keep the treated area moist after application to support nematode activity.

Available in 50 m², 100 m² and 200 m² coverage options. Always follow the instructions supplied with your pack for the correct dilution and application rate.

How to Use +
Water the treatment area before application so that the soil is already moist.

Mix the nematodes with water according to the dilution instructions supplied with your pack. Stir thoroughly to distribute the nematodes evenly.

Apply the solution evenly over the affected vegetable bed, garden soil or crop root zone using a watering can with a coarse rose or a suitable nematode applicator. If using a sprayer, remove fine filters that could restrict the nematodes.

Apply during dull, humid conditions or in the early morning or evening. Avoid bright sunshine and frosty conditions.

Water the treated area after application and keep the soil moist for up to two weeks. Further applications may be required where infestations are severe.
